Barley Cottage

The cottage has been carefully renovated to retain the traditional features of an old 18th century dwelling, whilst including all modern amenities.

A split stable door takes you into the spacious kitchen-diner with its feature inglenook, bread oven, and gas wood-burning stove set in the stone hearth and flagstone floor. The compact easily managed kitchen has oak units, electric cooker, microwave, washing machine, fridge freezer, and of course, all the necessary utensils and crockery. The large oval dining table comfortably seats six.

A three piece suite, and occasional furniture group around the feature brick fireplace in the lounge which has television with DVD / video player and Freeview channels. French doors lead into the south facing, secluded garden with patio garden furniture, and adjacent car parking spaces.

The open stair case leads to three bedrooms - one double, one with twin single beds, and a smaller single - all with matched fitted carpets, wardrobes and storage.

Downstairs, the newly renovated bathroom has a white fitted suite including over bath shower with airing cupboard adjacent. The cottage is fully gas centrally heated with double-glazed leaded windows.
