Manor Cottage has a chequered past, thought originally to be the bake house for Manor House, it has also housed chickens in its time, but today is a cosy hide-away for holiday makers. The most striking features are its sizable inglenook hinting at its working past and its view over an award winning traditional cottage garden.

Manor Cottage

The cottage is 17th Century with beams and an inglenook in the large downstairs lounge/living area. This room has a compact, easily managed kitchen bar with fitted oak units, electric cooker, washing machine, microwave oven, fridge freezer and all necessary utensils and crockery.

The well furnished lounge area includes a three-piece suite, dining table and chairs with a television, DVD / video player and Freeview channels.

Upstairs is a spacious but cosy double bedroom with the possibility of an extra single bed being placed in this room.  a chest of drawers and triple wardrobe, adjacent is the bathroom with washbasin, shower over bath, toilet and airing cupboard.

Gas central heating, fitted carpets and full double-glazing ensure comfortable accommodation in all seasons. Ample private parking, a sun-facing outlook over beautifully maintained gardens making Manor cottage an ideal base in a truly varied holiday area.
