Accommodation Sleeps
Appletree Cottage 4 people
Barley Cottage 5 People plus cot

Arrival and departure times
Your cottage will be ready for you at 2pm on Saturday and need to be vacated by 10am on your departure day.

Booking
If you would like to book a cottage please telephone before you post your deposit.

Cancellation
If you need to cancel your holiday the deposit may be retained. If we are unable to re-let the cottage you will then be liable for the cost of your holiday. We will enclose an insurance form to cover this possibility with any booking.

Cots
Cots can be added into some of the cottages, there is a £10 per week charge. Highchairs and stairgates are provided at no charge.

Deposit
A booking form is included with every brochure and a deposit of £50 per week will secure any booking.

Directions
Bleadon is three miles south of Weston Super Mare and you can exit the M5 at junction 21 and take the main road into town. When you reach the seafront turn left and travel along the A370 out of Weston towards Burnham and Berrow. 3 Miles later you will see the Anchor Pub on your right, indicate left and the Bleadon Village turning is just past the Anchor on the main road to your left.  Travel 200 yards with the rhyne on your right and the long white cottage on the left is Manor House, turn into Chestnut Lane where you will find the main car park.

Electricity
Electricity is included in the tariff with Manor Cottage being on a meter which is just set to cover the cost.

Gas for central heating and hot water is included in the tariff for all cottages


Kitchen facilities
Every kitchen is fitted with a washing machine, electric cooker, microwave and ample cutlery and crockery.

Linen
Bed Linen, hand /bath  towels also tea towels are provided and in each cottage the linen is matched to furnishings.

Local Shop
Our new Post Office and Country Store is less than a five minute walk from the cottages. There is a popular coffee shop and the store stocks local produce, newspapers and is licensed.
In addition Bleadon now boasts it’s own Farmers Market held once a month on a Saturday in the village hall.

Parking
Off road parking is available for each cottage.

Pets
Well behaved pets are welcomed with prior agreement. Regret no cats. Each cottage garden is safely gated to keep pets in. We do ask that pets are not left unattended in the cottages.

Pubs and restaurants
We would recommend the village pub the Queens Arms (attach link) which serves…
If you are planning to eat at the Queen’s then book ahead as it is a very popular.

TVs
Each cottage has a television with DVD / video player and Freeview channels.
There is a library of videos which you can borrow from in the phone room.

Telephone
There is a pay phone available which is handy given that mobile phone coverage can be a bit thin!

Walks
The West Mendip Way passes only a couple of hundred metres away from the cottages. The West Mendip Way stretches from Uphill to Wells and takes in many breath taking views on its way.

Winter Bookings / Long Term Lets
From November until Easter we are able to offer the cottages for longer lets to homemovers and people relocating to this area.  Terms are rent plus the usual out goings i.e. Council tax, water rates and gas/electricity which are payable to the suppliers. Telephones can be reconnected and British Telecom do not charge for this reconnection service. If you are interested  in a longer let please email and the costings can be forwarded.
